Organising a funeral means different things to different people. Each farewell is different so the total cost of a funeral will depend on what you choose.
From simple to elaborate, private to public, or from church to garden: the cost depends on the type of service or gathering, where it will be held, your preferred place of burial or cremation and your decision of shroud, coffin or casket. The list of options is endless and that’s why we help you every step of the way.
We are here to guide you through the choices and help you to organise a farewell that is meaningful and reflective. We can coordinate suppliers to arrange flowers, music, newspaper notices, celebrant, catering or photo presentations. This all takes time.
There are three main components of a funeral cost:
- Funeral Directors Professional Service Fee
- Third Party fees (Out of Pocket Expenses)
- Goods & Services Tax (GST)
We personalise and tailor a funeral to suit you. This means we listen to you and what you want. We don't try and fit your needs into a pre-designed ‘package’. Just as no two people are the same no two funerals will ever be exactly the same. We know that people experiencing grief want choices and options and we know how important it is to understand all options available and what costs are applicable when organising a funeral. You can then make informed decisions that are right for you and your family.
Our professional fees include the care of your loved one from their initial transfer into our care, to the day of the funeral itself. We also include our professional mortuary care, availability every hour and everyday of the year and experienced guidance to help you organise the funeral. Our service ensures we are with you every step of the way as we organise and attend to the funeral, provide the appropriate staff and meet all necessary legislative regulations and administrative requirements.
